Dextrac - Daily Expense Tracker ("Dextrac," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application (the "App").
Dextrac does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App. Your data is stored locally on your device.
The App works entirely offline, meaning your financial data is not transmitted to any external servers.
Since Dextrac operates offline, we do not collect, store, or process any personal or financial data on our servers. All income and expense records you enter remain on your device.
Your data is stored locally on your device, and we do not have access to it. We recommend using your device’s built-in security features, such as passcodes or biometric authentication, to protect your data.
We do not share, sell, or transfer any of your data with third parties. Since the App works offline, your data remains private and under your control.
Dextrac does not integrate with third-party services or analytics tools. We do not track or monitor your usage.
Dextrac offers an optional backup and restore feature using Google Drive. To use this, you will need to grant the App permission to access your Google Drive account. When you initiate a backup, a copy of your expenseTracker.db file is uploaded to a dedicated “dextrac” folder in your Drive. You can restore from any of these backups at any time. The App accesses only the files it creates; it will not read or modify other Drive content.
All backup files are stored in your personal Google Drive, secured by your Google credentials and Google’s encryption. You retain full control: you can view, download, or delete any backup file directly from your Drive. Backups are performed manually—no data is sent unless you explicitly choose to back up or restore.
All data entered into the App is stored locally on your device. If you wish to delete your data, you can do so by uninstalling the App. This will remove all stored information permanently. Google Drive backups must be deleted manually from your Drive if you no longer wish to keep them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
